Happy weekend!

What are you up to this weekend? Tomorrow I'm running 13 miles with my dad and, if I survive, going on a little date with Matthew! On Sunday my soon-to-be mother-in-law (whoa, that's a lot of hyphens) is throwing me a bridal shower! And after a week of nannying, I'm so excited to sleep in my own bed again. It's going to be a good weekend, indeed!

Here's a few fun things I stumbled across on the internet this week, if you're in the mood to browse!

Have you seen the New York Times "36 Hours" travel posts? Everything from Connecticut to Argentina. You can view all of them here. And they even have a pretty book for US and Canadian cities!

Prince William and Princess Kate (with the cutest baby bump and an adorable $75 dress from Topshop!) DUELING AT HOGWARTS!

A new food council is forming in Indianapolis. Exciting things in store for my city!

Speaking of hometown pride, I love these Indiana t-shirts.

Inspiring creativity through meditation. Sounds interesting (& kind of hippie, right?)

Digging these pastel floral jeans my younger brother's girlfriend (who has the best style) was rocking at my bridal shower.

This Harvard study is fascinating...

The cutest prints to dress up a wall!

I'm loving all the retro-inspired swimwear I'm seeing this season!

Happy weekend! XO.

What are you up to this weekend? I am photographing a wedding all day today (the weather is cooperating--hooray!) and then tomorrow I am SO excited for the bridal shower my mom and maid of honor are throwing for me! My rad friend Chelsea is flying in from New York City for it and sooo many of my friends will be there. The theme of the shower is "blushing bride." I am normally not a pink fan at ALL but I'm weirdly excited for this pink-infused brunch! Afterwards, Matt and I are looking at the apartment we hope to lease and then a group of friends are going to a free Gavin DeGraw concert. A whirlwind weekend, but so much FUN! Hope your weekend is full of sunshine, laughter and good company. Here are a few fun links I stumbled across this week, if you're looking for a way to kill a few minutes at work ;)

I love Dorothy Huynh's lifestyle portraits.

Boston Magazine's beautiful tribute cover.

A cool slow-food community garden right here in Carmel.

A former professor of mine is writing what is sure to be a rad book about his family's history in Appalachia.

Have any of you ever done an adventure race? I'm thinking about signing up for one!

The most AMAZING hammocks were featured on designlovefest (a fave blog of mine!) this week.

This magazine is definitely filling a much-needed void.

And the beautiful issues of this magazine are my guilty pleasure...

These strawberry yogurt popsicles look delicious (and easy!)

I'm super into succulents right now and dreaming of a little patio garden soon!
