I cannot believe we find out the gender of our little nugget one week from tomorrow! Eeeeek!! I am beside myself with excitement. We have made exactly zero progress on the nursery, but I'm hoping to tackle a few small projects this weekend, like cleaning out the dresser and closet and priming the walls. Regardless of whether we're having a boy or girl, we're painting the room a really pretty off-white. I think it's going to look really beautiful and be super bright and airy with all the natural light that comes in through the big windows. I shared my boy nursery inspiration a few weeks ago, so I'm back today sharing a peak of what I'm envisioning as a space for a little lady! I feel kind of silly going back to the same color palette time and time again (we used coral, marigold and mint for our wedding and it's also pretty much my brand colors) but I've decided that once you find something you love, stick with it!! Plus we already have so much stuff we could repurpose as nursery decor, like some pretty fabric ribbon backdrops we made for the wedding as well as fabric bunting in these exact colors. I'm planning to have the final color palette be a mix of mint, navy and gold, mixed with a bit of blush and a hint of that marigold yellow. Anyway, it's colorful, bright and adventure-themed with a bit of vintage flair--perfect for a sweet little girl!
